Hey guys, so I want to buy a domain that contains a trademark, I had issues with a domain name before containing a trademark for a telecommunications company and they contacted me about it and asked me to delete it, I didn't respond and I still have it, but now this trademark belongs to the internet giant Google and I'm afraid of loosing this domain later, I did my research of related domains and there are so many domains that contain this keyword and they're all fine.
So what do you suggest guys ? I really want to register this domain so what should I do to keep this domain if I register it ? any specific registrar that I should use ?
For now all I can think of is using whois privacy and stating on my website that I'm not affiliated with Google.

Yeah and still there are many other domains that contain "facebook", for example allfacebook.com which was registered in 2007.

They can launch a case with ICANN and get your domain removed. Don't do it.

Will they only get the domain or you have to pay a fine or something ?

The only chance of ever being able to keep a domain with a trademark is if you've registered it prior to that trademark being registered.

If you plan on creating a churn and burn website then you can take this route. How long you stay up is all up to how fast the owner of the trademark catches up to you.

Well I won't do it then, because it'll be a long term project.

I remembered on 2001 if im not mistaken, someone in my country was get jailed and paid some fine about 2000$ or 20000$ forgot the number at least it is big, for registering trademarked name. It wasnt his fault, he registered 2 years before the company started to trademarked that name. But whatever its a big company which built in corrupt country, dayem.
