Can I get into trouble for sharing fake emulators or non working bots?

I always thought that I am not doing anything illegal .. I don't sell anything. I just promote a tool that seems to work for me. Plus I never let them reach the file anyway.. I also used fake whois info on all my domains.

Any thoughts ?

Nope, not at all.
You might break the T.O.S of the provider that you are using, but otherwise nope.

What about when you offer lets say a free Samsung Galaxy or what not, and then they fill out a survey to get it but don't get shit. My father being a lawyer said if he did a survey for something promised like a Samsung galaxy, he'd want his Samsung Galaxy LOL.

Not quite sure what the proceedings are for such stuff, I don't offer that sort of thing just incase some cunt wants to take me to court for his free st00f.

I'll just stick to fake files/game hacks and serials lol

+ For copyrighted stuff, I'd make sure you're hosting your site offshore for that

It's not illegal in itself, but many files (fake and copyrighted) are illegal. You are doing it for commercial purposes. No one cares though. You won't get in trouble, but for the Whois information, maybe. Fake whois info is against ICANN rules so they might ban your domain. Use a whois guard instead.

For real? I always have used fake info on my domains and never a single domain banned.

But to OP: No it's not illegal although it depends much on your network policies.

This is something I used to worry about. Look. Just look at a common niche for example; MS points generator. Well, there are way too many kids out there who will download these fake tools, because they want it so bad. So what? They has to fill a short survey (in US it's usually just a first page email submit offer). Once they have the tool, it's not working. Well, are they going to report it to somebody? I don't think so. Okay, maybe there are a couple tough guys out there, who will try to report it and will try to take you (us) down. Let's say, somehow the programmers and devs at Microsoft will find out what are some PPD publishers doing (I am pretty sure they already know) and they try to investigate what is happening behind the scenes. When they get these fake apps to pieces what are they going to discover? That these programs are not even connecting to the internet...

In my opinion it wold be much more hassle to them to take these PPD publishers down than just let it go...

No worries. If you feel bad about it, offer some value with your fake tool. I donno... maybe throw a tutorial with your PPD referral to your archives and teach them to make some easy money...

If you think in that line, they are just wining, because we are kinda making some advertising to them for free, on youtube and other sites where you post your niche
