How many percent of french people can understand english?

I have french niches. Im wondering how many percent of french can understand english? I mean here in the philippines 80-90% people can understand english even those people who did not go in college or highschool. But 15-50 years old can speak and write in english well.

Thats why they are hard to target. But because of them I can understand a bit some french words.

French people (specially from France) are very very proud of their language and not a lot of them understand english I think that 39% is even lower.
One of my cousin who lives in France just came to visit for the summer and she can't speak english for ish she said she doesn't need it so why bother (which i think it's a stupid mentality) but you know family...lol

If you are planning to target France, then learn some French yourself. In a marketing industry, you need to adopt foreign languages in order to promote in foreign states. The clients does not adopt your language, but you do their's.

As Calisthenics already posted that only 39% of the total France population can speak in English (this may not be accurate). So, your best bet is to either learn French yourself or hire someone who have sufficient command over the language.
