wish scripting language should i learn?

looking to make program to automate tasks "bot(s)" ( and the bots are proberly gonna be for websites , and programs )
what do you suggest?
yes i know i can't learn coding in 3 weeks , it takes some months ... maybe even more ( to get decent skill )
also note that it is just for fun , but the programs could be handy

my friend is now learning java , but i don't think that it is the best language for this task ( not sure about it )
could be handy do if java could do this ( without typing 100 lines of code to do 1 step out of 100 when another language only needs 1 line of code) so we can help eatchother

Java can do it. But I would suggest Python of VB.net to easily get started (my personal preference would be VB.net, since I dislike Python).

python is damn hard , i tryed to let a code i found online work, i failed badly after 2 hours trying first you need to install this , then this then use that to download and install that .....
yea vb seems good to my , but can it do more advanced things ( yea thinking about the future, cus i don't want to spend time learning something , and then trying to make something and not being able to .... )

When you say "bots" what do you mean, this is an important factor in deciding if you should use a scripting language or an actual programming language

I would suggest Python because I'm a Linux/GNU lover and strongly dislike .Net.
I don't see why people think it's so hard when it's literally plan English.

program that can auto switch proxy and account, and create hundreds of youtube likes ( when insert account list), or a program to automate a task , like farming gold on a game like runescape , etc ...

If you need to do anything with runescape you need to learn java since rs is based on java it's easier to inject java code into.
For the other i would recommend you learn either c# or c++ and look into multi threading and sockets after you've learned the basics

I said games like runescape ( not directly java based) botting on rs is useless now due ban waves

intrested in c# and c++ should i ask wish one to choose on a more coding related forum? Or do you know wish one is better or my sittuation

If you don't care about cross-platform and are only going to be using your skills on windows then i would suggest you learn C#.net However if you do want to be cross-platform c++ is the way to go.
