who is responsible for copyrighted content?

Hi all.

I have been reading lots of tutorials regarding converting BH niche into semi BH or straight up greyhat.

To put it blantly, most of the works are copyrighted. There is no such thing as WH unless I produce the content myself.

Networks have a t/a that states they do not store content on their servers and act as a "middle man" only. But they have a dmca link on it.

In such scenario:

1 Copyright owner files dmca on network
2 network bans you

But it shouldn't be this way, the copyright owner should file the complain to me, not to the network. And neither does the network should co-operate because they do not host the content. At worse, they shouldn't outright ban users, but just takes the link down.

Which is right, and which is wrong?

The networks do it the way their lawyers tell them to do it.
If you feel so concerned about this issue, you can contact your affiliate manager on the said network.

Right, stupid me. That was obviously a stupid question. Even though they do not host the content, they also do not associate it in any form just to be on the safe side.
