Hello elites , 2 months ago i bought ssl certificate on my website, but i don't know how to show https in green on the bar of browser,. anyone can helo me on this? thanks!

EDIT: Don't buy SSL from shared hosting companies, try to buy on trusted places /(comodo SSL for example), and ask for a EV SSL Certificate.

Leads will trust that your site is legit combined with a good landing page because the green address bar is widely recognized as assurance that a site is safe to do business with

Trust.

OP, there are two kinds of certificates, normal one and EV (Extended Validation) one.

Normal one costs around $10-20, depending upon company and is the most economical and cheapest. But I believe only Chrome and Opera shows the "https" word in green, firefox just shows lock.

Now the extended validation (EV) certificates is what shows the full green bars. These are costlier and can range anywhere from $150-300/year.

When I got it for my former company, I used Digicert (for EV certificate) in case you wanted a source from where you could get it. Runs around 300 bucks an year there.

i brought a domain from namecheap and the SSL price was 2$ around.

but it also depends on your hosting if your hosting is on shared like bluehost shared hosting plan, it wont work.
you need to clarify this thing from your hosting service.

But the question is, are SSL Certifications given for BH content?

You must be marketing to some educated people if you bother to get a SSL. I've never ever considered this even with the thousands of hits a day. Neither do I care if I visit a site, never even look if a website has any certificates.

I only look at them if like paypal, to prevent if i went on a fake one. This is useless unless your cloning a site.
