So here's the deal,

I managed to rank my video for a medium competition keyword to the number #1 of the page 1 and after 6 days my video went instantly to the position #60 and it the same happened for every keyword it was ranked for.

Anyone faced any similar?

Interesting situation, videos do get deranked but not that drastically. Maybe the video is dancing, it will hopefully be back within a day or two.

maybe someone has spammed your video with low quality views or backlinks :)

I just let it rank for all these days,I did all the work the 1st day.

I doubt that somebody did add any views or backlinks,I monitor both of them and nothing strange in there.

Can it be a case that now YT ranks videos on their level of popularity in almost real time. Let me explain:

You upload a video and boost them with drip feed views that needs 5 days to be delivered. Lets say you boost it with 100k views. That means that your video is getting aprox 833 views per hour and your boost is finished, your vid after that on 6th day gets 30-50 organic views per hour and that is the signal for YT to derank it?

That is just mine theory.

JenniN I've been told by Hawk to reply to a random post of yours in order to let you know about your private message slot. You asked me a question and I cannot help you back, please clear some of your messages so I could reply. Sorry for the off topic!

That's my thinking as well but it youtube doesn't act like this all the time,I mean there are times I am feeding 100k views a day to a video it ranks to the page 1 and stays there, even goes higher while getting 20-30 views per hour.

In my tests I've found the same. There are certain keywords that will stick, while others will drop to the 3rd page within a few days unless you're pumping views to it constantly. My theory is that it depends on the keyword. For example, a keyword like "How to Lose Weight" holds more weight in the eyes of Youtube compared to a keyword like: "How to Hold Your Breath for 60 Seconds". I've even noticed that natural channels that have several thousand real subscribers will drop off as well shortly after they've been uploaded because after the first initial burst of subscribers watching the video, the views drop off considerably. In short, I'm guessing that there are certain keywords, in certain niches, that YouTube expects to have high hourly volume, and when the views drop off, so does the rank of the video.
