Wrong title? It should be "Who owns a 3D printer". Well, My friend have a cheap one. What's the point of buying one?

Unfortunately this mobile has terrible keys, makes it some what difficult to type and stuff. In regards to buying one it can be used for fun or to profit depending on your skills. For me personally I just want one as they look pretty awesome and I'll be able to design/print toys for my nephews etc...

3D printers are really cool to work with. But I think they are quite expensive, if it's not the printer itself it might be the software or the material used to print. On the other hand, you can print ANYTHING!
I saw a video where they built a 3D printer which litterally prints houses in japan.
(Ofcourse they used concrete and the houses didn't look top notch quality but it's 100 times better for the homeless than living on the street!)

Yeah there really are no limitations, it's just awesome. I was looking at one last year but the wife moaned about the cost at the time.

Some months ago I watched a TV reportage about some experiments with 3D food printers. If I would have the chance, I wouldn't build a 3D house, but 3D food. ;-)

This place is intentionally left blank.
