What methods you use to hide Javascript code or do you?

I have tried to find ways to hide javascript code from client but I think it is basically impossible because client still has to have read rights. I have come across tools like "Online Javascript Obfuscator" but Im not sure if it helps anything. Maybe it may slow down some people but yeah. Does anyone have more info on this topic?

Of course it depends on the level of obfuscation, but some older browsers do have problems with decoding/interpreting the decoded JavaScript code. It's similary if you compare jQuery 1.x with 2.x. And there are many old browsers and OS versions (like Windows XP) used, based on my tracking statistics.

Anyways, I would suggest to use a lower level of obfuscation.

And to give you another hint (I don't want to go too deep here in the public): Think of calling your JavaScript code with a PHP call instead, check the referrer with PHP, decide if you want to output JavaScript or not, ... ;-)

Yeah but if I am right I have to echo all my JS code in PHP file. And that isnt too nice :D Have you tried this approach?

Yes, I tried it. It works for some "advanced rippers". I combined it with some other details than the referrer in my cases.

Whatever you're going to do with your original JavaScript code, you'd always have to send it out, because the browser has to interpret it.
