Website not fitting every resolution

So I started out in CPA a while ago, and thanks to qannabōs, I created a not so bad landing page by modifying his Advanced Warfare template. But one thing has been bothering me. I have a 1366x768 monitor and the website looks nice on my monitor, but when I sent it to a friend with 1920x1080 he said it has white borders and stuff. That is true and I can't find a way to make it fit to every resolution. By the way, I read the rules but I still can't figure out if I can post a website link here for support purposes. Thanks in advance.

You should use % on your containers instead of px ... and also media queries ...but if you are not programmer.... You will have a big problem to put that...
