Website content changing have a risk for seo ?

now my website has some good rank in google. i'll decide completely change my website content. i need to know it has any risk ? my website rank will be down ?

yeah there is don't change your website content just add another content that said UPDATE!

Yes there is quite a lot of risk involved in doing that, I wouldn't do it definitely.
