Website Downtime - Worth To Keep A Domain?

Hey, recently I found out that one of my websites have been down due to it pending ICANN verification, which I don't know anything about.

Here's what my website looks when I go to it:

It's been down for probably almost 3 weeks. I have been busy with other projects, however, I put in a lot of time, work and effort on this site for multiple articles and it did give me some income, I don't know if it'd be worth to keep because of the downtime it's produced over the weeks.

I've heard if a website has a lot of downtime, the rankings decrease. So I'm not exactly sure if I should keep this domain and make a new website based off this one?

I'd appreciate your advice! :)

If you're good enough, nobody is stopping you! #P O S I T I V I T Y

If you put all that effort into the site, I don't see why you wouldn't at least make an attempt to save it. If along the way you notice that it won't be possible to save the domain because you used fake info or anything else that you can't fix, then you'll probably have no choice but to let it go. You'll never know if your ranking will be affected only temporarily unless you recover your domain. Google is pretty smart nowadays and maybe initially you'll see a drop, but it might regain its proper ranking over time.

IF the domain can be recovered then go ahead and use it. But it is better to start with a fresh domain.

I don't think it is worth to keep it, You should start working with another domain name!

It is worth it to keep it going if the domain has solid metrics. Otherwise why not get a new domain and move everything to the new one?

Here is a little more about icann. https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/co...3-05-03-en
You need to provide some infos about you/site and icann notice will be removed (it needs few days).

Just provide the info, buy Domain Privacy Protection after you do the ICCAN and you're safe.

it will take you only 5 minutes to verify the domain. Go to your domain dashboard and change the reg email to any email you want.

Is this real life?
"I put in a lot of time, work and effort on this site"
But now you have to verify your email and you're asking if it's worth it?
