hello, Blackmoney.
It's pretty simple to do, just follow these simple steps:

Code:
1) drag PictureBox and button to your application
2) double click ''my project'' in top right,  new your form1.vb or whatever it's called.
3) click ''add resource''. then ''add existing file''. Simply, choose image you wan't to display in your form when you will click button from your computer and remember the name of the picture.
4) then, double click button and add this code:

Code:
PictureBox1.Image = My.Resources.YourPictureName

replace YourPictureName with your picture name (individual picture you want)

Now, all is left is to compile your project.

In case you don't wan't to do it yourself, here is my visual basic project files:
Code:
http://www56.zippyshare.com/v/23681197/file.html

Once you will click button, it will show desert picture. (one of the windows 7 default pictures)
