Just before couple of minutes you reached 75 posts, wait for some more minutes. PM feature will unlock automatically.

Here is your answer :)
It take 20-30 minutes before you get the powers :)

Actually there will be new rule for this which will be effective 1 or 2 days from now.

User must have 15 posts and an 30 days old account to be able to send/reply to PMs.

If you notice, there are new users that register today that are making 50 posts just to unlock the PM function.

These users are most likely to spam the PM, where they could offer different services or even lead to scamming. This is to prevent new users to abuse posting 50 post just to unlock the PM function.

I am not generalizing that all new users that posts 50 a day are scammers, we're just taking it as an example.

I have spoken with Verilog regarding reducing the post count only, however new users will still need to have an account that is 30 days old in order to send private messages. Regardless, the new change will be effective by this evening:
Quote:(User must have 15 posts, and an account age of 30 days.)

All forums are the same when it comes to sending PM's, mostly anyway. I don't want idiots spamming and then scamming my users which is why this restriction is put in place, just the same as any other forum that looks out for it's users.

Closed.
