Downloading the best free VPN i can find. Stumbled upon total VPN (as recommended by VPN blogs lol) and downloaded the .exe file. Found out it has ransomware jigsaw trojan (see virustotal image attachment below).

Is this a cause for concern? Any other safer free VPNs you recommend? Thanks

Likely a false positive, otherwise other, more reputable, antiviruses would've picked up on it, too, on virustotal. Hide My IP is probably the best as it doesn't alter your speed, like most VPNs do. Not going to give my ref link as I don't wanna appear too spammy.

Is a VPN or IP Hider really necessary if you wanna do CPA? At least using whitehat methods, what about for blackhat?

That depends if you use 1 niche or few hundred niches. if you use few hundred niches you're going to need different domains, hostings, IPs, mail accounts, youtube accounts.

You could build 200 niche sites with one IP, but if one gets flagged (by competitors) the chance that all 200 sites get blacklisted is too high.

/I personally use Freedome VPN but that's only because I worked there, it's a lot more expensive than other VPNs.

Ah I see, so if you're planning on making several sites and domains, better keep VPN on? But when I check the domains I've made on whos.domaintools what comes out is the IP Address of the domain/website hosting provider (I assume, since it's not my IP address).

Given that how can they black list all those sites? I'm not very technical oriented as I've only started learning CPA and everything else this week (lol).

I don't feel like going into too much depth, but it'll suffice to say that Google isn't stupid.
