If you have money to spend on testing, tweaking, yes it can be really good. Check some guides, learn theory before you start with it. I have some experience with it, but I can't make positive balance with it and I leave it for some time in future! GL

Managing a positive ROI is quite the task, but if done well, you can make some serious cash. I tried it myself with a few months ago with an extremely low budget (~$40) and made a profit of around $4. Read up on the topic and prepare yourself to burn some cash before you create a profitable campaign. Look into case studies. Don't jump into the spending before reading a lot and preparing good landers first, I can't stress this enough. Read read read, and eventually test test test. Explore different verticals, different landing pages on different devices etc. Once you find something that works fine-tune it and milk it as much as you can. Best of luck, buddy!

If you really want to start some basic things you need:
-test budget (this can be any amount, you could spend $100 and hit 300% roi campaign right away with luck you never know)
-CDN, every second of load time counts on PPV
-tracking (such as voluum)
-spy tool (i recommend adplexity)

Once you have those, every campaign you start with, have at least 5 different landers and be willing to spend 10x the offer payout at least.
That's why its recommended to start with sub $1 offers
