The Mac - Keyboard Trick!

Not sure if you guys already knew this and it isn't exactly a trick but more like an unheard function of the Macbook Keyboard (at least to me :P)

Combine alt with any key on the keyboard and you can get all sorts of symbols.

For example :

Alt + 1 = ¡
Alt + 2 = ™
Alt + R = ®
Alt + G = ©

Sometimes you get different symbols for the upper and lower case letters. See for yourself.

Alt + M = Â
Alt + m = µ

And so on. I've only tried the numbers and the alphabets so far. So what do you think? Pretty neat eh? I wonder how I could have missed it. Do you think perhaps Apple needs to put these symbols as a subscript along with the regular keys? Or was I just too ignorant to find it out myself? ;)
