Suggested Bid Adwords Help

I was doing some research and found a keyword that displays "--" in the suggested Bid area. Normally I see this with KWs that have low volume but this has over 10k searches/m. I'm also fairly certain this kw has been around for awhile so I doubt it's lack of data.
Anyone have a better understanding of what this might mean?
Thanks

It could mean that nobody is actually bidding for that keyword. In other words, it could be possible that you have found a goldmine :)

That's what I was hoping someone would say Grin never used adwords for ads before but I guess this is as good a time as any to start. Any other suggestions?
Thanks
