Hey guys,

Well, we can get penalised by google using black hat methods. But I was thinking, and if someone do black hat SEO in competitors? Can we do that?

thanks

Google these days can even penalize whitehat sites, so nothing is safe.

This is so called "Negative SEO" and I know some people being very successful with negative SEO methods since 2011.

This place is intentionally left blank.

In Webmaster Tools you can disallow those crap links in case someone was trying to do negative seo to you.

I wouldn't suggest either of those methods. Take the time and learn how to utilize REAL SEO to your advantage. You'll be happy you did.

Well, there are even worse methods than just negative seo if you want to burn your competition out the darkest blackhat way possible.
Anyhow I wouldn't recommend you these since they are still time consuming and you wouldn't win in the longterm - and probably you would even hurt you both.

Somehow (I guess I have a pretty blackhat mindset) I still think you shouldn't harm your competitors in order to earn some money. This is just the wrong approach - learn things the right way and turn things up on your side not turnings things down on your competitors side. This little thing could literally start a cyber war in the future so better avoiding such things.
