About 2 weeks ago I uploaded one video with lyrics. Is the lyrycs of a song, but without sound, just some slides with lyrics. The videos doesn't have any sound. Now youtube send notification of third party content:
"Your video may include a song owned by a third party. For example, this might be a song playing in the background or someone performing a song.
Your video is available and playable."

My question is why? Because the video is without any sound. I'm mad, because the video cannot be monetized now and has made some good views until now.Mad

What do you think about that, guys?

That's pretty easy.

Lyrics are the same intellectual property like the music, they're protected by the copyright.

This place is intentionally left blank.

Is frustrating, because I see videos from years that have no problems and are monetized.

Sadly that's how it works. Music, artwork, lyrics or any form of digital content is IP (Intellectual Property) of the respective owners. I know it can be frustrating since not all videos gets those type of notifications or such.

But essentially you are monetizing off someone's work. So there is a good chance that someone (maybe the music company itself since your vid might be popular?) have reported to YouTube which has forced YT to take action.
