SEO-ing (ranking) black hat / game hack niches?

Hey there!

I have a question about ranking (SEO) black hat or more specifically game hack niches. Exactly a year ago, I created a Clash of Clans hack website with a lot of content. I purchased 300k GSA SER backlinks which were never indexed and tools like SEMrush never found them. My website got indexed in Google but I could never find it for my desired keywords... I did many SEO audits and fixed all my mistakes. Keyword density was perfect, content was written very well and all... After a week, SEO audit tools showed my website to be in perfect condition except for backlinks... I just left it there for a year, made a few conversions but my website never ranked at all... I even connected it to Google console and submitted it for ranking. I even built a few real Web 2.0 backlinks with real content that pointed to my main website. Neither they were indexed... After a few months, Google de-indexed my website completely and tools for checking Google penalties said that my website is definetelly penalized.

I checked for the same keyword and none of the websites that were on 1st page a year ago are there now. Is Google cracking down on black hat websites such as game hacks and de-indexing them? What is going on right now? :)

Thanks!

You can still rank game niches, those people who say you cant is out of their minds or wants the competition to drop.
However, since you're scamming your visitors, google will eventually put a penalty on your domain or de-index it.

Spamming your website with GSA link is probably one of the bigger reasons why your site got de-indexed. Back in 2012, this was a easy option to rank, but these days google algorythm have been updated so simply spamming a domain would in most cases cause more damage than good.

Who says "You can't rank Game niches"?
Nowadays, you can still rank game niches but in a Grey Hat SEO strategy, NO MORE SPAMMY LINKS!
You should BUILD Tier 1 Web 2.0 Properties Contextual Links then you can use GSA to build backlinks BUT not TOO SPAMMY!

Here's the TIP how to use GSA properly.

Use a percentage of the KW e.g. Broad Match KW - 15% and so on.......

Make SURE to TEST & TEST until YOU HIT the GOLD METHOD OF YOUR OWN!

Note: Don't JUST COPY others METHOD, you SHOULD innovate your OWN!

Hope it helps!

Thank you both for your answers. With Web 2.0 websites, you mean sites such as Blogger, Weebly, Squidoo etc.?

Yes, thats web 2.0's. Before getting too much in to action, you should use a hour or two learning about the different backlinks. Diversity is the key!

However, I would strongly suggest to build a few pb's and build a small network of your own.

Dont head in to the larger niches till you know what you're doing. With lower competition niches you will get a better idea of what is working and whats not in a small period of time.

Basicly start out super low, once you've succeeded. Move on to a niche with a little more competition and then keep going up.

Awesome, thanks. Yeah, it makes sense to go for easy niches or keywords first. However, hot to choose an easy keyword. I am using KWfinder to get the basic idea of how competitive a keyword is. However, which keyword "rank" (in points) would you recommend me to go for? (Max difficulty?) Any other tools I should use for analysis?
