Hi,

I have some money to spend and Im thinking about a private blog network.
Is this still a good invesment after recent google updates? Better to build it myself or just buy from bh marketplace? Any recommendations? I really need advanced SEO guys to help me on this one.

Whats your opinion about pbn, is it really that strong? Better than tiered linking?

Kind regards
hammerK

If you have the money and the time, go for it. The ranking power is massive.

But what would you suggest me to do, buy aged domains with good pa/da etc. or just buy from marketplace?

Btw. is it better to fill those aged domains with fresh & unique content or just 301 them to your site and hope to pass link juice?

PBN is the best thing in SEO, always was and always will. Updates doesn't matter.

PBN from marketplace is overpriced and don't expect that you'll get high quality domains.

Tiered linking is total trash when compared to PBN. PBN is the only quality links, rest is just trash and spammy.

Buy them yourself, and learn first how to pick them out correctly.

The purpose of PBN is to post your links there not to 301 them.

How do you guys manage to get different IPs?

You host your domains with different hosts?

Thanks Night_Wolf, thats some good infos. I read some threads about filtering domains. Do you prefer expired domains or better auctions? How much do you pay for an average domain?

Spend time to find your own domains. That's what I would do cause a good domain can cost a lot.

Fill them with unique content and then create new post with your links. Don't link more than 2
times from your PBN to your moneysite.
Also you should avoiding
pointing all your PBNs to your moneysites. For example, you should link to moneysite1 from 10 sites out of the 14 you got
and next time link to your moneysite2 from 12 out of the 14 sites etc etc

I do not own a PBN and thus this information comes from reading, not experience. :)

Good Luck!

OK I will do some deeper research and will buy my first domains, I guess this is the best way to go. I have some money to invest, I hope this will be worth in the end Grin
by the way...what about content creation, who tried KM3, FCS or SCM ?

Is the same bro. If you can get the ones that expired and just register them for $10 than go for it. Other times you'll have to go through the auctions and pay the extra fees for auction and renewal. It just depends on what you find at that time and which one is good for the taking.
Price ranges from $10-100.

For content, I buy my articles, then run them through SpinRewriter. I wouldn't use anything else.
