SEO...A Tricky One

I have read loads about content writing whilst Googling around and realize plenty of written content is vital when it comes to ranking.

Here's the thing:

Say if my niche was for free Xbox games (it isn't, any more) I could easily write about..well...about 2 paragraphs on free Xbox games. But what else can be done?

Well, I could go on to explain about all the different games you could get for free in separate posts.

Witcher 3

BLAH BLAH BLAH DE DEE BLAH

GTA

BLAH BLAH BLAH

Sunset Overdrive

Blah blah blurrr

I'm sure you get my point.

Last time I did this and I showed it to someone who said my page would confuse Google. He said Google wouldn't know what my site's offering, and I see he had a point.

This being said, how would you approach this?

Ehm, maybe outsource the content writing, let someone else do it. Or focus on niches where you can write more about..

I have no real issues in content writing. In fact, I'm pretty good at it as I come from a family of writers and have consequently been writing as a hobby for years.

The problem writing a tonne all about something that has many many things you can write about, but keeping it friendly for SEO.

I had the same problem when writing for clients, they had game hacks as a niche and I had much trouble writting more than 300 words.
What I did to overcome this is have at least 6 subtitles which I then wrote about, it was filler content but it worked.

Example sub-titles
- Intro (no subtitle here)
- Hack Info
- Hack Features
- How to download
- How it works
- Game info
- Conclusion (no subtitle here)

Personally I stay away from these niches but this is how I managed to write 1000 word articles for a simple hack.
