Hi,
Currently I am using a $5-$6 microphone and when I do voice over and then listen to my videos I can hear myself when I breathe in, I make some kind of "s" noice, you can hear my mouse clicks and keyboard clicking and when I talk there is "psss" noice. Also, I have to be basically kissing the microphone so the volume won't be too low.

Apparently the Samson Meteor USB Microphone is quite good, but I am really looking for people who are using microphone for the exact same thing as me. I also read some good things about Auna MIC 900S.

I do not really have a budget, but lets say something about $100 is my maximum. The microphone MUST have some kind of a stand.

Get a gaming headset. They are perfect for clear sounding audio.

Thanks, but I find wearing headsets to be uncomfortable and I am pretty sure a microphone for $100 should provide much better quality.

I use my laptop's inbuilt and i figured out that the sss sound was due to the system sound. The laptop makes a slight noise due to its inbuilt fan which puts a background noice. I have a cheap microphone like you but that fixed my problem! :D

The s noise is only when I am talking and saying words ending in "s" - noise, voice, words, as. It's sounds like I am accidentally whistling after every word.

Thanks for the recommendation guys. I think I'll be getting Blue Yeti as it has the best parameters given the current choice.
