Ranking a fresh domain?

So I am about to getting into Google SEO and was wondering if ranking a fresh domain is a possibility?

I think this might be hard, and the domain should be atleast +1 month old before I could start ranking it properly with backlinks.

Any opinions on this? ;)
How soon before you start ranking ur site do u invest in it?

First you should definitely get your domain indexed.

Made this mistake too. If your site isn't indexed and ur building backlinks, ur site won't rank, never!

Do you use a service for indexing?

Have you succesfully ranked domains that are only a few days old?
Doesnt that play a role?

I always use https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/...-url?pli=1 for indexing my domains. For me it usually takes about 5min until they are indexed. You can check if your site is indexed by searching "site:yourdomain.com" on google.

Fresh or 1 month old doesn't make any difference.

Of course you can rank a fresh domain, why wouldn't you be able to?

Why are services like this on the forums when you can just do it fast and easy without it?
