Quit my job or not?

I have big, big dillema right now. I am a beginner webdeveloper, I'm working in a very small company since 3 months so far and I'm earning shitty money - around $400 per month (in my country it's a minimal wage -,-' ) and I want to quit. I want to do full-time IM (CPA, PPD, whatever) and I must choose right now my path.
Till' this time I was earning around $400 from PPD, but right now all my niches passed out, and I must start everything again. I don't know what to do, I would like to still have my 9-5 job but I wouldn't have so much time for IM then. On the other hand I'm scared that I won't return to good earnings with IM so quick.(I'm thinking about $600 per month).

Can you guys help me decide, what to do? I must admit that I have some savings in my bank account and that will help me survive for over 9 months :P

So there are two options:
-Struggle in 9-5 job and after that in spare time doing IM = slower building IM earnings but safely way (and zero social life).
-Quit 9-5 job and doing IM full-time = quicker building IM earnings but more risky.

if i were you, i would go with the first option, cuz IM earnings are not completely stable (depends on what youre doing and how you do it). anyways i wish you good luck with whatever you choose to do! :)

Make a steady income from PPD first, then go full time on cpa/ppd, this is what i would do.

Don't be stupid to quit your job unless you have steady income. Try replacing it with freelancing as a last resort. If things go wrong it will be a disaster and lots of depression.

Why is he stupid? Ugh this forum is full of noobs with opinions.

First of, OP what's your current status? Living alone, with parents, with friends? How much are your monthly expenses? Do you have habits (smoke)?

Now I've been doing this for 4 years, I've never had a 9 to 5 job, I'm married and my wife doesn't work, I had bad times but always had food on the table, my current expenses are about 600-800 eur a month, so if you're dedicated to your cause and intend to do big in this field there will be bad days but never bad months.

And let's not forget, you say you're a web dev, why are you working for somebody else? Setup a small website on the side, give out cards or flyers offering your services locally.

Whatever you say. "Don't be stupid" isn't supposed to be claiming someone is.

The rest of your message I can at most agree with.

Yours sincerely,
noob with opinion.

My opinion man well 1st I quit my job to do IM yes I have made a nice amount but I wish I would have waited in the beginning. Reasons= Advertising if you want to make a nice amount then you WILL have to spend money ethier threw advertising, Banner placement, Traffic, Ads etc etc these things add up quick plus any program that will help do the grunt work for in IM time is money , My thought would be stick with your job right now get everything set up and the ball rolling then the decision is totally up to you. Just remember you wont always be making big money every month you will take hits just dont give up and for the love of IM treat it as a job its self. Alot of people slack off or procrastinate me being one of them because I am my own boss. Best of luck in your endeavors and as long as you stick with it you will make money.
