So, I have a question, I have internet through a modem and everytime I restart my modem, my IP changes right?
Question is can I use this as an Ip changer, so that I don't have to buy proxies?
Thanks,
sweet

Like most Rapidshare-Downloaders did some years ago. :-)

They checked your modem - if your modem got a new IP after restart then the function will get called before each download.

Just be sure to clear cache and cookies. Or use private mode in firefox, or other plugin that will hide your ...ip :D

Just test it out for you.
If your provider gives you dynamical IPs you can find that out real quick

As far as I know (I dont know very much on this field) DNS has dynamic and cable has static ips.
Also it would be recommended to use a script to change the ips. I have written a script for myself (for my router - needs to be rewritten for other ones) to change the ip and clear everything of my browser.

If you want I can share it later if I tweak it a little for other routers.

Thanks

If you have a dynamic IP, shouldn't that knife be cutting both ways? You could end up getting the IP of some local spammer who has been blacklisted.
