Question for Legends

Hello,

When you purchased Legends subscription, did you pay through your PayPal balance or the credit card linked to your PayPal?

I try to pay for Legends and it asks me to link a CC to it.

If I link a virtual CC to my PayPal account, will I be able to make the payment from my PayPal balance then?

Thanks!

In things on this matter, please refer to Hawk Eye and shoot him a PM to get this done. I paid via CC linked to my PP.

Best regards,

Yes, the balance is in USD.

Do you have a CC linked to your account? But you made the payment from balance? How long ago was this?

It asks me to link a CC to my account before I can continue. I don't have a CC but I guess I can buy a virtual CC for around $10 which will be linked to my account but I won't be able to make any payments using that CC.

I have a credit card linked to my account but I made the payment from my balance.

Is USD your primary balance on paypal (Click currency converter then your primary balance will be in bold in the list of currencies)?

You are buying premium membership which is a subscription. Regardless of how much you've left in your PayPal balance, you obviously need to have a CC linked to it (virtual or otherwise) in order to buy a subscription. In case of CPAE, it is a one time payment but in many other cases, subscriptions recur every month so if your PayPal balance is not sufficient, money would be drawn from your CC. That is why you need to have a CC linked to your account. But don't worry, CPAE membership is a one time payment of 30 bucks.

PS. I paid via PayPal balance but had a CC linked to it.

Paypal will, by default, automatically withdraw from your Paypal balance BEFORE ever touching your linked credit card/debit card.

It will only dive into your credit card/debit card IF you do not have enough inside your Paypal balance to pay for the entire thing.

For example:

Quote:I want to buy a new computer for $1,000 flat. I have $800 in my balance, so Paypal will take all of the $800 from my balance, and $200 from my Credit Card/Debit Card and combine it together to reach the $1,000 payment.
