Hello,

I found a embed code from one Sport TV channel and I added it on my blogger.

I read that its prohibited by DMCA. Anyone can explain me more about that? Is it allowed or not? What DMCA can do to me, what penalties is? I am afraid.

EDIT: I removed it from my blogger till I get answers.

Best Regards

I'll only embed one Sport TV channel on site that people can watch LIVE matches... is that violate DMCA terms?

You should be fine, but I highly don't recommend hosting that kind of content on a Blogger site because usually if your blog is monetized with CPA/PPD/PPI all it takes is one flag and it's done. For Sports TV stream content, I recommend getting offshore hosting. If you are staying within a budget, just get 000webhost. (Don't get Hostgator, they will call you up and interview you if your domain looks, what they call, "suspicious")

Depends what you're going to do with it, You'll get asked to remove the blog probally.
But if it's worse, they can actually sue you i believe.

Any questions related to CPA belong here.

I will monetize it with CPA, is it okay? Will they sue me if I go with CPA?

I dont think you are allowed to monitize copyrighted content.
Just to be safe, i would not use it.

I believe that the theft of copyrighted material is taken pretty seriously these days. You should probably either protect yourself, or delete it. I would definitely not use it on Blogger, nor WP for that matter.

Note: Re "protect yourself" I've never done it but a couple of the above posts mention suggestions. If you have a public persona, the offshore might be your best bet but again, I've never done this. I'm sure there must be others in this forum who could give you some good advice on the matter.
