Does anyone promote regular offers such as "Win An Amazon Gift Card!" offers on cpa websites? I remember when I first started that's what I did. But for the iPhone. I made around $80.

Yes that's what most people do (not on this forum), it's called non-incentive CPA and it pays more.
The best networks for that are Maxbounty, Peerfly, Clickbooth ...

I think I am going to give it a try once again and see if it goes anywhere.

Incentive is better in my opinion as you get to choose the incentive and usually I get better ROI and CR.

What 95% of the users here do is incentive CPA which is most times PPD as they promote files like games and cheats.
Incentive CPA means the motive that the user has to complete the offer and give you a lead is not the offer's price/gift etc
but another motive/incentive which you give him in exchange for a lead.

So non incentive means you promote the offers by themselves not giving any external motive/incentive
but the offer's price (ie. ASDA Giftcards). This type of leads pay more as the user is actually interested in
the offer but have a geographical restriction most times which makes their promotion on Youtube and in Google hard.
Non-incentive on the other hand is easy as you can promote anything and you lock it up. Networks with many offers are
a necessity as we need to make the most out of all the traffic we get on our niche (product/file/info we give as an incentive).

Long story short, non-incentive pays more but is more difficult and incentive is easy but pays less most times.

I hope you understand most of what I am trying to explain up there.

So incentive = content lockers, etc
Non incentive = just the offer itself?
