I didn't write this. Credits goes to Ender from CF

Here is it:
Few days ago, here in Spain, the police have arrested a guy because he used a link locker with pin submits.

You can read the news here: http://www.elmundo.es/elmundo/2013/07/20...17049.html (Sorry it is in Spanish)

The guy have a landing page about a Whatsapp hack. He said with his hack you can "spy" your contacts Whatsapp and put a link locker with Spain's PIN submits. He promote his hack in Youtube and over Whatsapp too (viral script).

Now, this is serious. Thanks for the heads up!

By the way, did he use iframes or was it just a regular content locker with PIN submit offers?
It was hard to understand the article as I had to use Google Translate.

I thought it's not really blackhat? You don't force them to do the pin submits

Well, i don't think they arrested him because of using a link locker, but more of the Application itself. And if it's a Working one, then i don't think this Application is Legal at all.

Maybe he used blackhat stuff such as iframing the offers or something.
I would like a user who understands Spain explain this.

From what I understood it was a scam, so the app was probably fake.

looks like they consider fake things + pin submits to get it a fruad.

but the reason he got investigated is probably because he was creating phishing sites i am guessing and he has actually hacked many accounts (or is this what he supposedly said the application will do? google translate sucks)

so you can get arrested for using pin submits with fake files and is considered fraud and criminal. I don't use pin submits anyway and don't plan on to unless i have a premium working product.
