PIN submits worldwide could die soon - after this Chrome update
Google Chrome will soon warn users about web pages with unclear mobile billing services
Google is introducing a small but important update to its Chrome browser, one designed to prevent consumers from being swindled by underhanded or unclear mobile subscription services.
Some web pages invite visitors to input their mobile phone number in order to subscribe to some kind of service, such as a mobile game, but it’s not always clear how much they will be charged or even if that they are being charged at all.

This is enabled by a service known as carrier billing, something that allows users to bypass more laborious subscription methods by having a fee charged directly to their mobile phone bill. It is actually an incredibly useful service for many things, as it removes much of the friction of paying for things online — and it also means you don’t need to have a credit card on hand.
But content or service providers capitalize on this ease by obfuscating key information from the sign-up process, such as costs and whether it’s a one-off or recurring fee.
Starting from December 2018 with the launch of Chrome 71, Google’s browser on mobile and desktop, as well as in Android WebView, will display a warning if it detects that there is insufficient mobile subscription information available to the user.

Of course this will affect only users of the Chrome browser (at least temporarily, until others will follow this strategy).
But it's time to create some useful tools to prevent Chrome from displaying this warning (without any modification needed at the mobile/tablet/desktop of the visitor).
Any thoughts?

Saw this, too.
However my affiliate manager says that this only affects 'shady' offers which do not follow basic regulations. So according to him the offers we normally use won't get this Chrome message. I also believe that good advertisers will have their ways for this to be compliant enough

Adludum, and it makes sense. If the offers are following normal regulation measures stating all costs and such then that should be fine. Either way Chrome NEEDS a way to determinate if they show the message or not. This could be URL blacklisting (easy to bypass) or something in the code (detect input forms with mobile phone billing?) , but there should be a way to bypass that

Yes, and some other detection methods also.
I wrote down some ideas to bypass the detection already at my project planning tool. :-)

Smart networks and advertisers will find a way to bypass this. (Or they can ask me how I would do it. :-) )
