This is going to be the heart of you being able to rank your website. Research Tiered Link Building. I would recommend doing it for EVERY post and the main domain (http:/yoursite.com)

Build your content, but start doing research on link building before you just start making crappy backlinks to your pages. I would recommend looking at backlinking services and trying to copy what they do on your own.

If it's your first site, like your title says, "be patient!"

I have developed a multiniche site with 200 posts and done SEO on in this way.

I make relevant categories then subcategories.... I try to put 10 posts in each sub category. And i do the SILO structure. In that way everything is connected and the link juice flows across all posts.

After that, i collect the subcategories links and i do link building on them.

Don't forget to "no-index, follow" your category.

Hit the nail on the head.

This is where you need to research. How link juice flows is important!!

For example if you make a gaming site. All post regarding "mega man" need to be in a category for "mega man"

Then all your posts for "gaming guides" need to be under "gaming guides" etc.

Otherwise link juice is just flowing all over the place. There are themes out there that do this for you in a more optimized way.

Learn about siloing and on page SEO and that's a good place to start.
