I was just browsing online, looking for SociallyViral Nulled Theme to download and clicked so many different file sharing services and found this page http://sharebeast.com/ *Checked the code, everything is clean, no scripts*

Am I the only one who was living under the rock? I have never seen anything like this. Is it really FBI have the power to takeover the domain name? I'm just interested what happen to the person owning this website?

Also I clicked "Search google for image" and apparently quite a lots of websites are being "seized" by FBI. I don't know why but it makes me laugh :)

P.S. Does anybody have SociallyViral Theme by Mythemeshop to download? :D

Sorry for not mentioning, Hawk. Of course it's a file sharing service like zippyshare or depositfiles. I just assume when the owners of this file sharing services received DMCA notices and deleted the files, sharebeast didn't gave a fck :)

Thanks for clearing that up, yep, well if you ignore DMCA complaints that is what happens for sure.

The webhost company that host your website's will get DMCA notices and they can ignore it, most of the time the owner of the copyrighted files don't go to court.
But if the copyrighted owner goes to court then the company that host your website will shut your website down.

Basically the same thing that happened to megaupload.

Why it's sooooo important to keep your content non pirated if possible (or better yet own it yourself) because stuff like this can happen and it's not fun.

Thanks for sharing this btw I hope it can be an eye opener for some of us.

Its possible for the FBI to take down a website. Its been seized so obviously something illegal has is being hosted.
That's what happend to a file sharing site, I think it was megashare or something ages ago.
