UPDATE!

I really have no words to describe my heartfelt thanks for everyone’s posts of hope and love.

I took my laptop to the hospital and was able to show James 43 people on here and Skype that took time out of their busy lives to personally wish him a speedy recovery.

And I can honestly tell you for the first time since the accident he genuinely smiled…

I will never be able to thank you all enough nor will I ever forget what you have done for both James and Myself…

You really have showed two brothers that the world still cares :)

Regarding his condition the Doctor told me his is stabilizing and despite getting several stitches they say he doesn’t show signs of any long term head trauma.

Keep praying guys! I know we will get through this!

Hey Elites..

At 1PM yesterday My brother (James) was struck in a hit and run while on foot, the driver was later found to be under the influence. I don't feel I need to get into much detail but just know it was horrific....

And while I spent all of last night sitting in a intensive care waiting room... trying to update my Skype status on poor wifi...

Life got a bit reflective...

You see there's something you should know about my brother... he's a fighter. And when we we're growing up.. he taught me something... He taught me to never quit.

And really it didn't matter to him if there was no way I could do it, he would not let me quit. And last night when the doctors told him they might have to amputate his right arm...

I had to do what he had done for me so many times before... Make sure he didn't quit...

I just want you all to know that life is Fragile... It's short... it's precious... And should never be taken for grated.

My brother used to tell all the time... "You only get one shot John... Make it count"

I never really understood what he meant as a teenager... but now that we are both adults the truth of those words strike me hard.

And while my deepest prayers go out to James and his lovely family...

I can not help but try and give you all what he gave me... Hope.

There is a poem that my brother has on his office wall. And I would like to share it with you now before I print it out to take to him:

Invictus by William Ernest Henley

"Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find me, unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul."

It's Already taken me awhile to write this... If your still reading this thank you... I know you want to get back to your work...

I also know several of you have been patiently waiting for your questions to be answered... and I thank you... but you must understand that this takes precedence.

With that said... Please keep him in your prayers and Never Quit My Friends :)

Get Well Soon Bro :)

Even if you don't believe in yourself... I will. :)
