Let's quit smoking

I have been smoking since 4-5 years constantly around two or three packets daily. I have started not smoking from last week, anyone from you guys managed to quit smoking?

I really need to do something about my physical condition which is getting worse and worse. Anyone else facing same issue?

That's not good! quit now while you still can. Smoking is for dummies. Grin

Care for the health mate. About physical condition, don't push it to hard at start.. Start slowly with exercises and increase a bit every day. Cool

I have never been a cigarette smoker, but try cardio exercise 3 times a week - 10/20 min per session will do. You will feel a lot better despite the nicotine withdrawals, with an extra push in your health.

Consider weightlifting too, I didn't think it was for me but I feel great doing it.

I use to smoke 1 pack a day sometimes 2. i just stopped, its not hard.

I left smoking, I wanted cigarette really hard, but give myself word, I start to gain weight very fast, start to swim every day and playing gym, currently I do not care about cigarettes.

I am having problem quitting aswell, although i dont smoke more then 5-6 a day but i have loss significant amount of weight in past couple of years since i started smoking.

I quit smoking about an year ago, cold turkey worked for me. I actually thought it was pretty easy to do, all you need is something to replace the habit. I started chewing a lot of gums.

i wouldn't advise you to stop smoking immediately as this will affect your body
switch to vaping as that's what i'm doing, it's less dangerous and a very good alternative for quitting
