Well some people told me not to use it, so what is your opinion? And do you know where I can find what impacts google ranking the most?
It was a case study on some website what seo experts do. So any help? Thanks in advance. :)

ofcourse it is good to have the keyword you are targetting in your domain name not only because of the positive SEO impact, but and because it is closely related to your site topic and it is easier for people to recognize it and remember it

I always place keyword/s in my domains as I believe it helps me rank the sites.

This is asked many times before here.
But the answer is yes.
Using an EMD is common (seo) sense.
