Java is something I've wanted to learn for a while now, just getting my feet wet with it.

I am fairly decent at web-development and am also learning Java. The main thing I am struggling with is the OOP approach, never really used it and I find it pretty hard to get into.

Dedication is a talent all on its own.

That’s Great Hawk :)

Since I’ve put most of my recent focus on App development, I still have a lot to learn about Java, but I could probably still hold my own :)

If you or anyone could use help with like: HTML, CSS, PHP, VB, C#, Ruby or C++

I’d be happy to help you anyway I can :)

Even if you don't believe in yourself... I will. :)

Edit: I realized just how badly I need to brush up on my maths, I'm going to do that for a few weeks and then get stuck back into this.

Nice!! I had to learn Java for my course as well, it's not very useful unless if you do android app development, but once you understand how it works you can easily swith to C++ or C# and so on.

I would suggest Big Java as a textbook to read through, "Big Java pdf" will bring some results hehe

Java is currently one of the best languages to learn. It's really wide spread in technologies. I'm also learning it.
