If anyone can give me any advice on what to do now as these "technicians" from xeepi.com formatted Windows on the VPS. Is it possible to recover data anyhow, so I can get back to them and tell them what to do?

Well anyways...

I got disconnected from it earlier due to an unknown reason, opened up the ticket telling them to reset the machine because I'm unable to do it through cPanel (already tried it, but nothing happened).

After 40 minutes when I tried reconnecting again, I saw clean Windows installation and all of my GSA projects, and all of my MVB data was lost.

I used chat to ask what the hell happened, and the dude says that the word "reset" means "format" or "reload" on their language. I don't know, but maybe they invented the new meanings of specific words. All I wanted is to reset the machine. Fuck, I'm so pissed right now.

im sorry for your loss
but you can try a recovery tool called "EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard"
i used it few months ago and it recovered most of my data
hope that helps

jebiga. You should've used the word 'restart'. Anyhow, they should've backed up the files if they did the reset, so talk to them.

I'm pretty sure when a server is "restarted" that way, you will never ever recover your data. I have had experiences of that and I think you should just save time and create your projects again, if you're comfortable with them. Or in my opinion your best choice would be going for another provider.

Well I suppose that their staff should either look at the current status of the server and see whether it needs restarting or simply formatting everything.

I opened up a support ticket telling them to add additional 15 gigs of hard disk, and they wrote "Ok hold on, we're looking at it right now".

30 minutes have already passed, I tried logging on to the VPS, and I saw that dude is using Windows Help & Support while trying to find an answer on how to add more gigabytes on my virtual machine.

And call me a king of stupidity, but this dude is way dumber than I am.

i think what you wanted to tell them is "reset password"
and not "reset machine"

I am sure they must have backed up everything before initiating formatting, contact them.
