Is it really difficult to set up a serious wordpress site?

Hi all. I've been reading some tutorials for making a wordpress site. But i also read some guy saying that if you ain't experienced with it, you could get your site throwed down easily by any hacker.

I'm thinking on building a serious site for some fanpages i have, but i'm afraid that if i achieve success with it, someone could destroy it :c

what do you think? is it really that easy to throw down wordpress sites?

Some of the most popular websites in the world use WordPress there is nothing wrong with it

I know, but i'm not into security stuff and i'm afraid that, becouse of that lack of knowledge, my wordpress site could be throwed down easily.

It is pretty simple(in 30 seconds) so you must have a paid hosting account + domain
and go to cpanel and try to install Wordpress!

The security level:
Since you do not install plugins unknown or rrated poorly, you will have no problem and of course try the known hosting web(Hostgator, Hostwinds..) and keep everything updated!

Just spend the extra few $ and buy a dedicated ip and whois protection
