Is it possible to rank on old niches?

So i found some niches, they are quite old and most of the websites on page one are a like 6-8 years old. Through keywordrevealer.com i checked the competition and it says either no competition or extremely low competition

Most websites have DA <30, PA 1-10 and 1-10 backlinks.
Some of them have a lot of social signals though.

My question is - would it be possible to rank a wordpress blog in these niches? Because in my experience, every time i choose a niche that is quite old my blog gets indexed but it never appears in the search results. I'm sure my On page SEO is fine though.

If it is still possible, would the fact that the websites have been there for a long time somehow interfere with my ranking process?

I think what you're trying to say is the niche you want to rank in is years old, and you're wondering if your result will still show up in google.

Yes you could rank any term any time.

My site appears in Google when site:mysite.com is entered. But it does not appear in search results of any of my keywords. That actually happens to some people. Except for them the website eventually appears in the search results after some weeks.

If it appears in google with the site:yoursite.com command it's indexed. Your website probably doesn't have good ranking for the keyword you are searching for. If you want to find your keyword position you can use a tool like this: https://serps.com/tools/rank-checker/

You can always do a little cheat in such cases, go for an old about to drop domain and build your entire site on it, create very similar or high quality back links and that should do the needed job for you.
