Amount I got scammed for: $500

He added me on Skype & after a couple of days he sent me a pm on the forum:

I reached to him on Skype and here how it started:

So after one day he reached back to me saying this:

The transaction happened here:

I told him to wait some time for Payoneer to confirm the payment and asked him to send me the BTC as soon as he receive the payment

After a couple of hours, the payment was still not confirmed so he reached out to me:

I told him to wait for 24 hours

And at the same day I got a confirmation e-mail from Payoneer that the money was approved and he received it:

And I tried reaching out to him and he simply ignored me even though as you see in the current screenshots which I'm taking as I'm making this thread, he's appearing as "away"

So after a while he went offline, that's when I knew something is going on here

And In midnight i saw him come online, as soon as I sent him a message he quickly appeared offline:

And he's still not responding to my messages, So I made a dispute to Payoneer and they told me they will freeze his account and hopefully I'll get my money back

This thread is just to shed light on this guy since he's known as a HQ reputable member but that's probably doesn't matter to him when it comes to some money.

I would just feel sorry for him and anyone else who would do the same.

HawkEye  I know that you're busy these days, But you can handle this whenever you want as I'm already making my move from the Payoneer side

The New Rule Regarding The Disputes Forum:

Any parties other than the accuser/accused are not allowed to post inside the dispute thread unless they have something in-common & wants to add more evidence/proof.

Breaking this rule will lead to a warning for a certain period of time which means your posts will be on approval mode until the warning expires. The rule was made to keep disputes clean, simple & on point.

Exactly! Thus why I was all in for the deal cause he also used to be a staff member here

I'm seriously considering the removal of the exchange and JV forums at this point. They seem to attract to many scammers.

Damn mate... I'm sorry for you.
That deal shocked me. You really can't trust anyone. Even an old reputed member may be a bitch.

Exchange can be done on other sites that ensure safety of both parties and makes the exchange fair, so no one gets scammed. Having that here only makes the forum look bad because of scammers, they don't bother scamming someone for a few hundred dollars because the worst thing that can happen is being banned, they can create an alternative account later.
About JV, I don't think it's an instant way to scam someone like exchange, when you find a JV partner you have enough time to see their intentions and prevent being scammed, so I don't think that forum is as dangerous as exchange.

I've been lurking on CPA Elites, and somehow my gut feeling was already telling me that this exchange was a disaster waiting to happen!

Ever since BigBuddy, a former moderator/staff and one of the most respected members from the #1 BH marketing forum for years, got banned by scamming and blackmailing a ton of people (power abuse). It made me realize that you cannot, trust, anyone, online. No matter how long you've done business successfully or how good of a guy they seem or even are for years, do you want to be the first victim when they decide to change?

Every significant amount of money might play tricks in someones mind, even if it's just a hypothetical thought. That's just the evil that money does to people, especially if you don't know them personally! They'll start outweighing the pros and cons and come to the conclusion that by putting only their account at stake, nothing much is going to happen really...

You shouldn't care how good of a guy he seems or how great they are, everyone should always take the best precautions possible that will make a transaction go as safely as possible for both parties. It will save your ass! Not doing so will always put you at risk, but that's something you have to be ok with yourself for when shit is about to happen.

High rep, high post count, (former) mod/staff and vouches generally do not mean shit. Only thing it really does is make you as a person lower your guard to potentially be the first to get scammed by this person, opposed to if you were doing business with a "nobody" of the place. So always keep your guard up. It's sad but that's how it is nowadays.

Hopefully IndeXer comes to terms!
