Impression to Click Rate

Hello CPAE.

Just looking for some insight from you guys to try and gauge some investments I'm going to be making in the next few days.

Right now I am using FileIce. I think they're a great PPD network, but limited. You can't choose what offers show, the customisation of widgets is... Limited... But mostly, they don't show how many impressions your widget gets.

I can see how many people visit my site, but not how many click to open up my widget. This is some pretty significant information that I'm missing.

My question is, in your experience, what is your average impression to click rate (impression on the widget through to click on a survey)?

This is something I've not really seen mentioned a whole lot on the forums, and I'd be intrigued to know what kind of numbers to expect/you guys experience.

Thanks!

I'm actually kind of surprised at how low the CTR is for most people. I've been asking around a few of my friends that do CPA and they have all reported 15-25% on average. I just switched over to AWM and I'm hitting about 25% right now (very low traffic at the minute, will have more of a realistic number by the end of tonight).

Thank you all for the replies.

Thing is that Sharecash in example count every impression made, example if you click on your SC widget 5 times you will get 5 impressions. And on some other networks like CPAGrip if you click 5 times to your locker then it will count 1 impression.
I have around 20-25% CTR on sharecash and when i tested same traffic on CPAGrip then i have 50% CTR.

So you must figure out how your network counts impressions to know a bit more about your CTR.

And which works best for you sharecash or cpagrip?

Thank you all for the responses, this thread has allowed me to get a reasonable idea of what I should be aiming for.

I suppose I should chip in my stats after a few days on AWM. I was able to achieve a 56% CTR on one of my widgets and 47% on another.
