I am considering to start accepting payments through Skrill, but I would like to hear your opinions first. What is your experience with Skrill so far?

No, I just want an additional gateway because some users are either banned from Paypal or reside in countries that have no Paypal. What really worries me is how much close attention they pay when they have to decide if a dispute is reasonable or just a scam attempt. I would also like to know how good their antifraud mechanisms are. I have received several fraudulent payments through Paypal making me lose hundreds of dollars and pay a good amount in reversal fees.

I used Skrill from 2006 to 2012 (at the beginning they were called "Moneybookers"). I didn't have any issue although I received around 30.000 to 50.000 Euro (US$ 37,500 to 62,500).

Over the years they requested some further verifications, like electricity bills.

Unfortunately due to my inactivity at Skrill since 2013 they temporarily shutdown my account, I found out last week.
