How can a NO INDEX backlink helps to rank a Youtube video?
Or NO FOLLOW links don't have any purpose at all? Thanks!

I don't know about a "no follow" but a "no index" would be worthless considering that not being indexed means Google doesn't see it.

Yea. "No-Index" would be completely worthless. Doesn't rank on Google.
No idea about no follow.

I mean "no follow".
There's "do follow" right? The other one is "no follow" links.

Nofollow links aren't nearly as good as dofollow links. But, you still want to have both in your link building campaigns. Here's the difference:

Nofollow: These links won't pass any link juice to your site. For example, if you have a PR3 link pointing to your site, but it's a nofollow link, Google doesn't care. You won't get any link juice. Google will just see it as a backlink, and nothing more.

Dofollow: These links are the ones you want. Google crawls these and passes whatever link juice these links have, to your site.

Be careful, think about it. Does it look natural to ONLY have dofollow links? No. Google will notice this, and punish your site. You need to have a mix of both dofollow and nofollow links pointing to your site to ensure a natural diversification of your links.

Thanks! What do you think is the accepted ratio? 80% dofollow:20% nofollow, is it okay?
Or I need something like 60%:40%?

This I don't know. I'm fact, I really don't think anybody knows. There's no "secret" formula. You just have to test and see what works. Tongue
