How are these sites made?

How are huge game hack sites generated, where they have like thousands of niches. Same article (diff keyword/game) per niche, custom html, custom resource names (gems, gold or whatever) which that specific game has.
All probably going to the same content locker. I know how it's possible with wordpress, but how with custom html? Perl? Where it can be made to spit out all kinds of pages multiple times.

How do people make sites like these? They don't need game logo's or anything specific, just built in generators.

Trying to explain rather than post sites, I wouldn't want people posting mine :P

Obviously these people have a list of niches, with their resource names and thats it. Any ideas anyone?

Most of these big sites are years old, they probably target any game but mostly low competition niches, as for how its done they either had a big batch of lp's ( u can find hundreds here ) or they made them manually

Nah it's not what I'm talking about they are not old otherwise that would explain the amount of niches. These are newish and spat out from some sort of program or script.

Only thing that changes on every LP is the nichename. So it would have some sort of variable to retrieve niche from a list of thousands with it's resources.

LP is nothing special, just the fact it's so many niches its awesome.

I believe one way to do it would be with some basic php.
index.php grabs the niche name from the directory url (ex. mygamehacksite.com/clashofclans) and stores it in a variable $niche, then echos that variable throughout the page
ex.
Code:
<img id="logo" src="<?php echo $niche; ?>.png" />
Then create a ton of directories reflecting the niche names and containing the same index.php
That would be one simple way of approaching it.

Yeah that's a good point. Can I PM you a site.

What confuses me is that these pages are html I'm sure.

But when I add .html or .htm or .php to the end of the url it doesn't load meaning it's none of them

Hello,

They are dynamic sites and as Adpet told they use lots of variables and generate from 1 simple template unlimited websites and you can't rip them.

It is written in php and curl. Unfortunatelly you can't see the origianl code.

Regards!

You don't want to be creating sites with the same article just slight changes in the words. Unless you're planning on a churn and burn. You won't last long as google will see it as spam and de-index your site.

You can make an HTML template with the article, title and stuff like that. Then you load your niches with the information like keywords, ressources to be generated, ... on a script that will simply generate as many HTML pages as you need using the template.
For example : "{keyword1} is an amazing way to get free {ressource}..." and it simply replaces things with your information.

You can also use already made templating engine and tweak it to generate and save the HTML rather than serving it dynamically.

You can do so in any language but a scripting one (Python, Lua, ...) might be easier :)

Just because it's .html doesn't mean it's not dynamic. My Magento site has .html as the extension but that's an E-Commerce framework made in PHP. I believe you can change PHP's behaviour in php.ini to parse .html as .php files, as long as you use the <?PHP tag, or .htaccess for apache to do so.
