How Much do You need to invest to Start SEO?
2014-12-23, 04:50 AM,
Hey guys! I want to start doing SEO and was just wondering. How much do I need to invest into SEO so that everything goes smoothly. Here is my list so far:

  • GSA Kit ($200)
  • Personal VPS ($20 a month)
  • Private Proxies ($30 a month)
  • Hosting ($5 a month)
  • Domain ($10)
  • GSA List ($30)

I'll have $350 in paypal by the end of next month. Do I need anything else?

Only one "GSA list" for US $30 won't help you much these days.

This place is intentionally left blank.

You have a very broad question without any specifics.

Did you look at the competition for your keywords? (in great detail)

Problem is that people think they can just buy GSA, few proxies, low end VPS and that is enough "SEO". That's why there are million threads by same users asking questions what is wrong with their campaign and what did they do wrong.

Whether that low end setup without any real powerful links (aka SAPE/PBN) will be enough just depends on the niche and keywords you are after or what exactly you are trying to rank and bank.

That kind of kits are for fast-boost short-term rankings.

Im currently saving for a $1500 campaign SEO.

You have two options for that amount of money.

2) Small PBN

GSA SER is still pretty capable to rank a website right now. It's mostly about strategy today though than aiming it at your site and blasting backlinks (it still works, mind you. Not as good as it was before).

PBNs are great! However, you're limited to low competition niches as you won't be getting MANY powerful domains for that amount of money. You can get around 15 weaker-but-still-a-lot-more-powerful-than-gsa-ser-links domains which are typically in the PR2-3 range with DA/PA, TF/CT in the 20s.
