How Much Money Do You Have to Make to Call it a Full Time Income?

Hello fellow elites,

So this question keeps playing on my mind again tonight until I woke up. In our country, everyone would take any given opportunity to work overseas, mostly middle east, and those who land a job in US, UK, CAN, AU, NZ and the other first world countries are being looked up to.

So here is my question, how much money do you have to make to call it a full time income?
-For Americans, where college education is i think too expensive- you graduate and land a 9-5 job, will you be happy to earn $3k? or $4k a month?

-How much is like the average salary in your country?

Here is a scenario in our country, Philippines:
-If I would like to have my own house let's say the amount would be ($80,000) and I am just a regular employee earning ($400), it would take me 30 years paying $222 each month for the monthly amortization before I can fully call it my own house. What? I need to work for 30 years to own a house? What would be left for my expenses? for Leisure, food, transportation and what If I have a family, kids to support and send to school?

I'm asking this so I can justify myself if my wife talks about working overseas.

Consistency is my key!

In my country, average salary is like $200-$300. For me, I would consider 5k a full time income.

I would say around $45k a year is average salary here in America. A college education is a must here, you will most likely not find a good paying job without one.
You may think it's a lot but there's other expenses we have too and loads of taxes.

It's not really any of my business, but why don't you want to work overseas?

There are a lot of factors actually; freedom, the risk and fear of being laid-off, being away from your family for a long time.

So If I could make a full time income on the internet, I would grab it.

Consistency is my key!

Well at the US you have to report income to the IRS at $600, so try making $600 minimum a month.

The average income in the Netherlands is $3706 per month, but living here is pretty expensive. We got high taxes, food is anything but cheap here. Gass price is pretty insane too we pay $9.26 for 1 gallon of gasoline.
