Hey, i need a german guy that can translate this:

Nur wer etwas leistet, kann sich etwas leisten

oder stimmt das schon:

Only the one who can effect performance is able to afford something

Did you try google translator?

Came out as

"Only he who does something, can afford something
or not you already know"

here I'm half-german and half-English ?!

it has a meaning like "Only those who do something, can earn something"

I'd interpret it as "Only if you work, you will be able to afford something"
