GSA - High CPU Usage Problem
2014-04-12, 10:13 PM,
I have second plan from SolidSEOVPS. The GEEK one at 35$ monthly.

My CPU Usage is always at 99%. Even i decrease the threads to 30, even i increase to 200. CPU usage remains always at 99% in the program and in task manager.

In Control Panel of VPS, the CPU usage is 12-15% as it should be. Unfortunately, the software works slowly and the real cpu usage is the one which shows in the task manager - 99%.

Even with the GSA software closed, my CPU usage is 10%.

I alreadt contacted SolidSEOVPS team many times and they changed the node, the ip, without any results.

I have 30 semi-dedicated proxies and i use a combination of my own verified list with bluelist created by ron from April 2014.

It's really annoying because the LpM is also really low, being an average of ~20.

I`m looking for over one week for a solution. Please advice me what i need to do.

Restart your vps.
Run CCleaner
Clear your project target URL .
Set thread to 30 1st. After 10 minutes if everything fine increase to 50 and so on .

How many project do you run ? Try to run max 8-10 project only

Do you use own list ? Using own list also can make the cpu usage high . Try to import in small size for own list. for example 1-5k each project.

Do you have anything else running in the background of the VPS? Other than GSA SER? It is normal to run that high at 100 threads on the Geek VPS. I started off using the Geek Windows VPS as well. I personally wanted to increase my threads and productivity, so I upgraded to their Double Time Windows SSD plan. I run 350 threads in GSA SER, plus use captcha breaker and GSA SEO Indexer and my CPU runs at around 50%.

Which country did you purchase the VPS in? USA or EU? Their EU servers are better than the USA servers.

What do I do for a living? I chase Paper! What the f#$% do you do?

no, VPS is good enough(2x3.4ghz), must be something else.
Even I do not have 99% cpu load with Indexer and SER and all other stuff on Celeron G1610.

Did you check in task Manager / Process what program is cousing such high load of cpu? Is it SER

Yes, GSA SER have 99% in Task Manager. There are no other softwares that consumes CPU.

I found my gsa ser had a very high cpu usage when I imported too many target url's, try lowering the number for each project and add more when you need to
